Job title ; Supervisor in Fabrication welding department

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate daily activities for a team of welders and fabricators, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Production & Planning: Organize work schedules, assign tasks based on employee capability, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
  • Quality Control: Inspect welded joints, monitor work for compliance with blueprints/technical drawings, and reduce scrap or rework.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and proper use of safety gear.
  • Technical Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot welding equipment, ensure proper maintenance, and optimize welding processes for efficiency.
  • Resource Management: Monitor inventory of welding consumables and materials.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience as a welder (specifically MIG/TIG) in a sheet metal environment, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of welding techniques, materials, and fabrication processes.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
