Work for the London Stock Exchange and join a dynamic team of experienced Account Managers
Become part of a successful team with the primary responsibility of building and maintaining deep customer relationships within your portfolio, with the goal of driving account revenue, retention, and growth.
You'll collaborate internally to deliver outstanding service to clients to uncover client needs and consultatively guide them toward the best solutions for their requirements.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, focused, enjoys meeting clients, and is eager to learn and grow while working collaboratively. Above all, they should possess a strong sales work ethic. Experience working for or selling to financial institutions is highly valued, and we offer extensive training to stay current with market trends.
This role manages a defined book of business aligned by customer segment within a specific geography and is accountable for the commercial close of all deals.
Role Summary
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer decision-makers' strategies, priorities, and needs.
- Maintain a solid understanding of LSEG propositions to initiate conversations and generate interest.
- Build and embed long-term trusted advisor relationships within accounts.
- Drive growth by expanding LSEG's footprint within accounts.
- Focus on customer engagement, expanding relationships, and retaining managed net revenue.
- Coordinate all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end-to-end customer relationship.
- Drive efficiency in account administration, especially for lower-value and growth-potential accounts.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to close deals.
- Lead deal teams aligned with customer strategy and opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- Proven track record of driving growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of customer business models and workflows.
- Solid experience in the Financial Services industry and industry expertise within the customer segment.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Ability to build relationships and share knowledge with clients.
- Consultative selling skills and ability to articulate complex propositions.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute sales plans, and proficiency with technology.
- Problem-solving skills: ability to understand, structure, and solve client needs.
- Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience in account management, sales, or marketing in a customer-facing environment.
- Proven customer relationship management across your book of business.
- Post graduate degree or equivalent work experience.
