About the Role:
We are seeking a fluent Mandarin-speaking professional to join our team in a client-facing role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Mandarin-speaking clients, understanding their business needs, and providing effective solutions. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills along with a proactive sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Mandarin-speaking clients via calls, emails, and meetings to build and maintain relationships.
- Support the sales team in identifying and converting potential clients from the Chinese-speaking market.
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
- Conduct market research and assist in business development initiatives targeting Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations in both English and Mandarin.
- Translate key materials (emails, documents, marketing collaterals) as needed.
- Participate in events, exhibitions, and meetings involving Mandarin-speaking partners or delegates.
Requirements
:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in client servicing, business development, or sales (B2B preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in international business or working with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Knowledge of event management or travel industry is an advantage.
- Cultural understanding of Chinese business practices and etiquette.
