We have a very good career opportunity for the position of Assistant Manager Mechanical Field Service / Installation & Commissioning (Pune location).

Our client is a leading German MNC in the field of Metal Forming / Press Line & Machine Tool Industry, with operations in India for more than two decades. The company is globally recognized for its advanced engineering, innovation, and strong customer base in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

They have their Indian operations based in Pune and are looking to strengthen their Mechanical Field Service & Installation team.

Job Description:

4. Must be able to supervise the work at site / trouble shoot the site issues.

6. Should be open for extensive Field Service related travel: exploratory visits + site visits

7. Should have flair to work in MNC culture

8. Excellent in written and oral English communication

9. Should have keenness to learn and adapt the cultural differences for harmonious work

10. Should have flair to communicate fluently with colleagues in various World-wide locations of Parent Company

11. Should timely submit visit & work reports in prescribed European formats and should have the good writing skill and should be able to write the distinct facts in the service report.

12. Should be open to travel to European HQ for training.

13. Prior experience with Projects Background will be an added advantage

14. Prior experience with Metal Forming Industry will be an added advantage

15. He should be ready travel at any time all over India.

16. Candidate should have good understanding on customer needs and requirement and should exhibit such actions.

17. He should ready to accept the technical challenges and should bring into conclusion.

18. He should be good team player and should be having flexible attitude.

Main job purpose:

To be accountable for all aspects of Mechanical Field Service in context with site issue like analysing the site issue, debugging, trouble shooting and solving the technical problem at site independently, readiness to travel to site at short notice, if required, readiness to get located at site for minimum 3 to 4 weeks in one continuous stretch

Desired Technical Experience:

Candidate should have minimum 6 to 12 years of experience in the field of Machine Tools related Mechanical Systems and their installation and commissioning at site.

The candidates should be good understanding on the mechanical drive system

Candidate should able to troubleshoot the problem on hydraulic / pneumatic circuits

Candidate should have understanding the function of Servo Valves, Pumps, intensifiers

Candidate should have basic knowledge of mechanical elements like Hydraulic Valves and circuits & pneumatic valves & circuits, lubrication lines and their functioning.

Knowledge of modify existing electrical program as per requirement will be an added

advantage.

Background

Field Service and installation / commissioning at Site background is the most preferred.

Candidate should have preferable Project experience of machine tool industries, press line from reputed OEM / T1 / T2.

Candidate must have experience of retrofitting/refurbishment of old machines

Candidate must be well experience for commissioning of machine tools or Press line
