Job Overview

Isoftronics is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of Senior Test Automation Tools Specialist. This full-time position is based in our Chennai headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with up to 10 years of relevant work experience in test automation. The role requires proficiency in both mandatory and required skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Selenium, Appium, and Cypress (Mandatory skill) to design and implement automated testing frameworks effectively.
  • Solid experience with TestComplete for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
  • Experience with Git version control to manage and track code changes efficiently across teams.
  • Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing and ensuring the functional correctness of Java applications.
  • Proficient in Python for scripting and automation tasks, enabling seamless integration across software environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify testing requirements and develop robust testing strategies.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Cypress to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and work with developers to resolve issues and improve application quality.
  • Continuously enhance existing test automation frameworks and develop new ones to support project requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Ensure version control best practices are followed using Git, maintaining an organized and trackable code repository.
  • Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports, for transparency and accountability.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
