About The Role
The Test Engineer Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective testing strategies and leadership. This position involves overseeing a team of test engineers, guiding them in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans that align with project goals. The manager will be responsible for establishing best practices in testing methodologies and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards before release. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential issues early in the development process. Ultimately, the Test Engineer Manager will contribute to the overall success of the organization by delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Hands-on experience in Java and Python for test automation.
  • Proven experience in embedded systems testing, cloud application testing, and mobile testing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, PyTest, and Robot Framework.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile testing (Android, iOS).
  • Familiarity with embedded testing tools and environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent coding skills in Java and Python.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional leadership and delegation abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for status updates and stakeholder management.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and risk mitigation.
