Safety Supervisor/engineer For Real estate Firm Tathawade(Pune) Location

- Oversee safety operations at multiple real estate development and construction sites.
- Ensure that safety standards and protocols are followed by all workers, contractors, and visitors at the site.
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments and identify potential hazards during the construction and development phases.
- Implement corrective actions to address hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), local building codes, and other relevant safety regulations specific to construction and real estate.
- Work with municipal inspectors and regulatory bodies during site visits and audits.
- Perform regular safety inspections on construction sites, ensuring that safety measures, equipment, and emergency protocols are in place and being followed.
- Document all safety violations and follow up to ensure timely corrective actions.
- Investigate any safety-related incidents, accidents, or near-misses on construction sites.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Provide training on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, scaffolding safety, fall protection, and other construction-related safety practices.
- Ensure that all construction equipment and machinery are properly maintained and safe to use.
- Verify that workers are equipped with appropriate PPE and that safety gear is compliant with regulations.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency evacuation plans for construction sites.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure that all workers are aware of the procedures in case of an accident or hazardous situation.
- Record-Keeping & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all safety audits, inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Prepare safety reports and metrics for management, highlighting key areas of improvement or concern.
- Collaboration with Project Teams:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning and design.
- Provide safety input during project meetings and ensure that safety measures are aligned with construction timelines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Safety certifications such as OSHA 30-hour Construction, NEBOSH, or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in safety supervision, specifically in the real estate or construction industry.
