Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

  • Supervise daily inbound/outbound operations of:

  • Finished goods (CSD, juices, energy drinks)

  • Raw materials (concentrates, sweeteners)

  • Packaging materials (bottles, crowns, labels)

  • Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory management

  • Maintain hygienic storage conditions as per FSSAI standards
  • Conduct cycle counts and stock audits

Logistics Coordination:

  • Schedule primary transportation (plant to warehouses)
  • Arrange secondary distribution (warehouse to distributors)
  • Track vehicle movements using GPS systems
  • Verify transporter bills against agreed rates

Cold Chain Management (for chilled products):

  • Monitor warehouse temperature (2-8C range)
  • Ensure reefer truck compliance before loading
  • Maintain temperature logs throughout transit

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Prepare e-way bills and GST documentation
  • Maintain batch-wise traceability records
  • Ensure MSDS compliance for hazardous materials
  • File damage/shortage reports

Process Improvement:

  • Optimize warehouse space utilization
  • Reduce handling damages through proper training
  • Implement barcode/RFID systems

Safety & Security:

  • Enforce warehouse safety protocols (forklift operations, stacking heights)
  • Maintain fire safety compliance
  • Implement theft prevention measures
