Job Summary

MISTA Infra is building the tallest tower of South India (in East Bengaluru), Residential and Commercial Towers in Whitefield, and a Mega
Township
Project in East Bengaluru. We are seeking an experienced 
Principal Architect
 with 
10-15 years of expertise
 in architectural design, planning, and project execution, particularly in 
Bangalore
. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of 
local building codes, bylaws, and regulations
 (including BBMP, KSPCB, and RERA compliance) and a strong portfolio of township, residential, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with 
    Bangalore's local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations
    .
  • Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, 
    BOQs, and tender documents
     in alignment with Karnataka's construction norms.
  • Coordinate with 
    Civil engineers, design engineers, management, and government authorities
     for approvals and clearances.
  • Preparing Overall
    Site Layouts, Floor Plans, Elevation Drawings, Cross Sectional Drawings, Built Plans
    etc.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Ensure projects meet 
    sustainability, safety, and accessibility standards
     as per Indian regulations.
  • Mentor junior architects and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
  • Stay updated with the
    latest trends, materials, and technologies
     in the construction industry.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Architecture (B.Arch/ M.Arch)
     from a recognized institution.
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience
     in architectural design, with a focus on 
    Bangalore-based township projects
    .
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, D5 Render, and other design software
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    local building codes (NBC, BBMP, KSPCB, Fire Safety, and RERA)
    .
  • Experience in 
    handling townships, high-rise buildings, residential complexes, and commercial spaces
    .
  • Hands-on experience in Residential & Commercial Interior Designs.
  • Good Knowledge of Vastu Principles for Residential Buildings.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA)
     is preferred.

  • Experience in 
    green building certifications (GRIHA, IGBC, LEED)
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    urban planning and smart city initiatives
     in Bangalore.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
