Inviting applications for the role of Principal consultant, Java Support  

•    In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Backend/Database environment.    

•    You would be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.  

Responsibilities  

•    Handle L3 support issues with Supporting/Troubleshooting Java applications. 

•    Support and automation engineer to support and improve a production environment that consist of elastic search, Java applications, custom platforms and multi node clusters of windows and Linux servers. 

•     Should be a support person, not a developer who does support on the side. Should bring great coordination and communication skills. 

•    Motivated self-learner with ability to learn customer specific custom tools and platforms 

•    Daily monitoring of alerts, triage of issues by performing environment analysis, log analysis and providing tactical solutions 

•    Opportunistically, look for root cause and provide long term fixes or automations 

•    Maintain the upkeep of the environment by owning Dev-ops techniques to deploy code, upgrade environments 

•    Alert monitoring, triage and troubleshooting 

•    Linux (Advanced), Shell Scripting 

•    Java Application Code understanding 
 
Qualifications we seek in you  
Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

•    BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA  

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

•    Good problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

•    Financial services industry experience preferred. 

•    Experience in Java, Linux, Shell Scripting. 

•    Understanding of DevOps methodologies. 

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

•    Experience in L3 Application Support environments.

•    Flexible to rotational shifts- as the candidate may have to work with global teams across different time zones.
