Role Overview

You'll be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. You'll work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and customer stakeholders to turn business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient technical implementations.

This includes coding, performance tuning, report development, integration configuration, and API enablement, along with leveraging LCS for deployment and environment management.

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Development – Design, develop, and implement customizations in D365 F&O using X++ and related technologies.
• Integrations – Build and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, Data Entities, and third-party middleware.
• Reporting – Create and modify reports using SSRS, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Power BI integration.
• LCS Management – Use Lifecycle Services for environment setup, configuration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Data Management – Configure and execute data import/export using D365 Data Management Framework.
• Performance Optimization – Analyze and tune code and queries to ensure optimal system performance.
• Version Control & ALM – Work with Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, and release management.
• Collaboration – Partner with functional consultants, business analysts, and clients to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Testing & Quality Assurance – Build and execute unit tests; support integration and user acceptance testing.
• Documentation – Maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for customizations and integrations.

Nice-to-Have (But We'll Teach You If You Don't Have Them Yet)

• Knowledge of Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations and data models.
• Familiarity with Power Platform integration (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience with extending standard D365 F&O functionality using Chain of Command.
• Understanding of D365 security model and role-based permissions.
• Exposure to Azure Services (Service Bus, Logic Apps, Functions).
