We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Engineer with strong expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud-based data solutions extensive experience in designing and implementing BI platforms and a passion for driving analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Platform Management: Design implement and maintain scalable Azure solutions including Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory. Manage cloud resources including compute storage and networking ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. Business Intelligence Solutions: Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI.

Optimize data models and ETL/ELT pipelines for BI reporting and analytics. Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Leverage Microsoft Fabric capabilities to integrate data engineering data science and BI processes into a unified platform. Provide guidance on adopting Fabric for end-to-end data workflows including Data Pipelines Real-Time Analytics and Lakehouses. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor junior team members on best practices in Azure and BI development. Performance Optimization: Monitor troubleshoot and optimize Azure BI solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement automation scripts for deployments and monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

8-10 years of experience in cloud computing with a strong focus on Azure services. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Lake and Power BI. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric including integration of various Fabric workloads. BI and Data Analytics: Strong knowledge of data modeling ETL/ELT processes and data visualization. Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level BI platforms.

Programming Skills: Expertise in SQL Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on Azure. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills: Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Familiarity with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView. Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI capabilities within Azure or Fabric. Familiarity with real-time streaming tools such as Azure Event Hubs or Kafka.
