Role Overview:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the premises. The role ensures that all areas — including customer zones, counters, restrooms, and workspaces — are neat, sanitized, and presentable at all times. The individual plays a key part in creating a safe and pleasant environment for customers, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Perform daily cleaning of floors, walls, counters, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum as per schedule.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, furniture, and fixtures regularly.
  • Maintain hygiene in food service or waiting areas, if applicable.
  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure garbage bins are emptied and sanitized regularly.

2. Hygiene & Sanitation

  • Follow cleaning schedules and use approved cleaning materials and tools.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized at all times.
  • Refill cleaning supplies, tissue rolls, soaps, and sanitizers as required.
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards.

3. Equipment & Supplies Management

  • Handle cleaning tools, machinery, and chemicals safely.
  • Report any malfunctioning or damage of equipment to the supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning agents.
  • Comply with company hygiene and safety policies.
  • Report hazards, spills, or maintenance issues immediately.

5. Team & Support Tasks

  • Assist in setting up or cleaning areas before and after customer hours/events.
  • Support other departments (e.g., pantry, front office) as assigned.
  • Maintain coordination with supervisors and colleagues for smooth workflow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹13,000.00 per month
