Position Overview

We are looking for motivated interns who want hands-on experience in full-stack web development using React and , with additional exposure to DevOps and cloud practices. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in building modern, scalable applications, integrating APIs, and learning how to deploy and manage them in real-world environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates early in their careers to work on live projects while being mentored across front-end, back-end, and DevOps.

NOTE:

  • This is a FULLY REMOTE & FULL-TIME (8 hrs/day commitment) Junior role (unpaid until completion of probation).
  • Pqxel does not outsource any work to contractors, so please do not apply if you are currently working on multiple other projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using , HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Develop reusable React components, manage state (Redux/Context), and implement client-side routing
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with +
  • Work with databases (MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL) and ensure secure integrations.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and robust API interactions.
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Sound knowledge DevOps practices including AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of , , JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JS libraries.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge (preferred, not mandatory).

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
  • Understanding of Webpack, Babel, or build tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures and networking basics.

Compensation

  • Unpaid internship during first 3 months (probation period).
  • 3–6 months: ₹5,000 INR/month stipend.
  • 6–12 months: ₹10,000 INR/month stipend.
  • Project Commission: 1% of project Gross Profit (GP).
  • Example: If a project generates $20,000 GP, you earn $200 (₹12,000 INR), provided on-time delivery and client payment.

Location & Work Schedule

  • Primarily remote; attendance at local company events may be required if invited.

Timings

  • All interns are required to work 4 to 8 hours per day, including internal meetings during fixed EST hours, and complete all required timesheets and documentation.
  • Interns may occasionally need to work extended hours or weekends during tight delivery timelines.
  • Timesheets and other documentation are mandatory for role success.
