Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 3D models for manufacturing processes,
  • Develop and optimize CNC machine programs,
  • Experience in machining along with strong computer and mathematics skills,
  • Maintain detailed documentation of programming and processes,
  • Involves reading and interpreting technical blueprints, programming CNC machines, running simulations to ensure error-free operations, adjusting machine settings, checking the quality of produced parts, and performing maintenance on machines
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications,
  • Perform troubleshooting and adjustments on machines and programs,
  • Conduct regular machine maintenance and calibration,
  • Tests and adjust to ensure the machine produce high-quality parts,
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards,
  • Often work with a team of machinists and other engineers.

Technical Skills Set

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam, SolidWorks, Post process and Simulation)
  • NC Programming
