We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Sales Executives to join our commercial vehicle sales team in Kollam and Trivandrum location. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive market, particularly commercial vehicles, and a passion for building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, etc.) by generating leads, conducting cold calls, and networking.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their unique transportation needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on Ashok Leyland's commercial vehicle product line, including features, specifications, and benefits, to effectively present and demonstrate vehicles to potential buyers.
- Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry and test drive to negotiating deals, preparing contracts, and coordinating with finance and logistics teams for a seamless delivery.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information and sales forecasts, using a CRM system.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but a strong sales track record with a relevant diploma or equivalent experience will be considered.
Languages: Fluency in both Malayalam and English is essential for effective communication with local clients and internal teams.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to close sales and achieve targets.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with CRM software.
