Job summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Civil Engineering to manage financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. This is a full-time, office-based role in Bhopal, India, aimed at candidates with 1 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within agreed limits. Implement cost control measures and track changes that might affect project costs.
  • Valuation and Certification: Conduct interim valuations, measure completed work, and prepare statements for project certification for payment purposes.
  • Contractual Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate terms with contractors and suppliers and manage contract administration throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Tender Evaluation: Participate in the preparation and evaluation of tenders and bids for construction projects, analyzing the cost and feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential financial or contractual risks and develop strategies for mitigation to protect project interests.
  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS-Office, Primavera P6

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 1-6 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related role within the construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Road, Highways, or Railways sector
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software tools
