Purchase Executive- Contractual

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Purchase Executive to join our Purchasing team for a contractual role(9 months -12 months). In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient procurement operations, optimizing costs, managing vendor relationships, and upholding our high standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure all purchasing activities strictly adhere to internal control principles, L'Oral Purchasing policies, and legal/contractual requirements.

  • Conduct negotiations with integrity and transparency, fostering fair and ethical supplier relationships.

  • Cost Optimization:

  • Proactively optimize cost savings for both Operational Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) through effective negotiation and procurement strategies.

  • Vendor & Transaction Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end vendor onboarding process efficiently and accurately.

  • Oversee Purchase Order (PO) management, ensuring timely issuance and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, internal stakeholders, and vendors to resolve queries promptly and facilitate timely payments.

  • Project Contribution:

  • Actively participate in and support various projects related to purchase management, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and basic contract principles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software/ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
