Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer (Graphic + Motion) with a strong creative vision and an eye for detail to help shape Penumbra's visual identity. You will be responsible for developing the visual language across packaging, product design, illustration, and motion storytelling, ensuring consistency and excellence in every creative output.

Responsibilities

  1. Design engaging visuals for product packaging, insets, manuals, and creative educational assets.

  2. Create visually appealing motion graphics and animations for learning and storytelling purposes.

  3. Collaborate closely with product development and R&D teams to bring design concepts to life.

  4. Conceptualize and execute visual solutions aligned with the brand's philosophy of imagination and creativity.

  5. Maintain design consistency across all product lines and visual materials.

  6. Manage projects independently from concept to final delivery, ensuring high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  1. 8+ years of professional design experience in visual communication, preferably in children's toys, education, or creative product industries.

  2. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, motion design, and illustration.

  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).

  4. Excellent sense of color, composition, and visual storytelling.

  5. Strong ability to collaborate with R&D and product teams.

  6. Detail-oriented, imaginative, and capable of maintaining design coherence across multiple touchpoints.

  7. A passion for designing visuals that inspire curiosity and creativity in children.
