Role & responsibilities

  • Must be well aware of SLD of out door type and GIS type switch yards of 66KV and above.
  • Must be able to coordinate with civil contractor for construction of proper civil foundations.
  • Must have knowledge about various power supply equipments layout and clarences to be maintained for switchyards and control rooms.
  • Must be able to read and analyse the site/shop drawings related to power supply system.
  • Inspecting and reporting of materials received at site as per approved drawings.
  • Have good knowledge of supervision of installation ,testing and commissioning of various equipments like Transformers, switch gears, overhead conductors, control relay panels and SCADA equipments.
  • Shall have knowledge of coordinating testing and commissioning of various equipment's installed in the switch yard.Knowledge on interface with various contractors involved with project at site.
  • Must be able to take site decisions to resolve the issues for smooth conducting off site activities.
  • Have knowledge of preparing site measurement sheets for the works conducted as per BOQ of contract.
  • Understand the importance of key dates and execution of works to meet the deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate in electrical Engineer/Diploma in electrical
  • 6+ Years of Post Qualification work Experience (11+ Years for candidates with Diploma)
  • 2+ Years of work experience working in similar positions / role, on Metro Projects with GC / PMC / Client / Supervision or Construction firm,(8+ Years for candidates with Diploma).
