Description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Analytics Consultant with strong technical and analytical capabilities to support strategic decision-making and problem-solving across business functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, Alteryx, SQL, JSON, Python, and Tableau/Power BI, with a solid understanding of forecasting, data transformation, and visualization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources, delivering actionable insights that drive business performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, Alteryx, SQL, JSON, and Python to support business initiatives.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Conduct forecasting and scenario-based planning to support resource allocation, capacity planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Extract and transform data from various platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Genesys, InContact) to analyse customer and advisor interactions.
  • Provide recommendations based on trends, variability, and performance metrics to optimize staffing and service levels.
  • Support budgeting and long-term planning through data-driven staffing analysis and forecasting.
Qualifications

Technical Proficiency in:

  • Excel for advanced data manipulation and modelling
  • Alteryx for ETL and workflow automation
  • SQL and JSON for data extraction and transformation
  • Python for scripting, forecasting, and statistical analysis
  • Tableau/Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development

Analytical & Strategic Thinking:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
  • Experience in forecasting techniques, capacity planning, and scenario modelling
  • Ability to communicate findings in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in business analytics or consulting, with a focus on forecasting and strategic decision support
