Prayas Shala is a dedicated Fab Lab under the Nidhi-Prayas Programme to facilitate mechanical and digital fabrication. The lab has essential design software, prototype development equipments and basic manufacturing tools.

Role Requirements:

  • Should have knowledge to operate a 3D Printer, CNC Machine, PCB Milling Machine, Laser Cutting & Engraver, Manual PCB Drilling Machine, Lathe Machine (HMT), etc
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Curiosity, positive attitude and a growth mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the successful operation, safety & maintenance of the Lab
  • Maintain documentation of the lab equipment
  • Maintain a stock register for the usage of the equipment
  • Keep a record of the consumables
  • Initiate and complete job tasks assigned by startups and students
  • Convey and take care of any requirements given by the startups
  • Helping the startups and students with the working of the equipment
  • Lead tours and explain to visitors about the lab and the equipment in it

Eligibility:

  • Should be a Graduate/Diploma holder with relevant experience. Preferably 1 to 3 years.
  • Certification in Fab Lab Course will be preferred.
  • Probation period will be 6 months. During this period, if performance is not satisfactory, the contract can be terminated with 1 weeks' notice.

Salary and Compensation: As per Industry standard.
