**40 JR TECHNICIAN - PATHOLOGY**

**40.1 **Understand the primary sample collection and follow the SOP and follow the set protocol for all the activities like sample collection, transport, testing, result communication, documentation, storage, reagent handling.**40.2 **Input all the information that is required by the software package.**40.3 **Inform the Technical Manager/ technical manger/ lab director of any abnormal or borderline result prior to repeating the test.**40.4 **Ensure that the reports are ready for delivery for both the inpatients as well as the outpatients.**40.5 **Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste material as per hospital protocol. After finishing work, ensure that the working area is cleaned with proper disinfectant. **40.6 **Help in the daily & weekly maintenance of all the equipments in the lab under the **40.7 **Collect data for quality indicators and submit to Quality manager at the end of the month.**40.8 **Endeavour to understand and train one self on the equipments.**40.9 **Be ready to work on all the diagnostic equipment available in the Hospital & take up any job related activity as requested by the Technical Manager,Quality manager, section head, and laboratory director and as per the need of the hour.**40.10 **In case the junior technician - Department of Laboratory Medicine is on leave, the responsibilities of the technician would be handled by the other lab technicians on duty with the help of Technical Manager. The Technical Manager would assign specific task to each technician, who would then complete the task and report to Technical Manager & Quality manager.

**40.11 Supervises**: None
- **Supervised By**: Lab Director, Quality manager and Technical Manager, Senior Technician.
- **Qualification**: H.S.C. / B. Sc. with DMLT having 0 ~ 2 years of experience

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
