A service advisor for a Maruti dealership acts as the primary link between customers and the service department, diagnosing vehicle issues, recommending repairs, and managing customer communication. They are responsible for greeting customers, explaining service needs and costs, overseeing the repair process, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and resolving complaints. Key responsibilities
- Customer and Service Management:
- Greet customers, understand their vehicle's issues, and schedule appointments.
- Advise customers on necessary maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer specifications.
- Obtain vehicle and customer data and refer to service history when making recommendations.
- Technical Liaison and Diagnosis:
- Communicate customer concerns to technicians and translate technical information to the customer.
- Perform visual inspections, conduct test drives, and ask diagnostic questions to identify mechanical problems.
- Prepare detailed work orders with descriptions of the customer's concerns to help technicians.
- Estimates and Approvals:
- Provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labor.
- Establish a "promised time" for service completion.
- Obtain customer authorization for additional services if needed.
- Quality Control and Communication:
- Ensure work meets dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
- Inform customers about the work performed and the final charges.
- Communicate updates on repair progress and notify customers when their vehicle is ready.
- Customer Relations:
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and questions.
- Provide tips on vehicle care and maintenance.
- Gather feedback to improve customer satisfaction and build loyalty.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
