• Core competency in Architectural designs, master planning, space planning and should have ability and hands on experience to work on

schematic/statutory/ working drawings and 2D /3D, Presentation,

• Preparation of Item description and Specification for Arch BOQ Items for Tender, including cost estimates
• Shall have knowledge of statutory regulations, LEED/ IGBC certifications requirements, hygiene, and sustainability related design

concepts/requirements.

• Global architectural practices / domain knowledge preferable to be able to check & review our global engineering partner's drawings & documents.
• Shall have ability to evaluate the scope of works, efforts to completion, change management, Design coordination with all other disciplines.
• Shall be able to extract and gather the inputs required from other discipline to develop the master plan/ plot plan , Architectural layouts
• Shall be able to guide and mentor the team, identifying and imparting training to enhance the skills and capabilities.
• Ensures and drives Company policies and Project Objectives
• Basic knowledge of Interior design and Landscape

Role / Job Description

• Mentors, trains & encourages resources within discipline to achieve desired project objectives.
• Participates and Represents Jacobs in all Client facing and critical meetings to provide solutions to meet project objectives.
• Proactive review of Resource utilization and resource planning in the disciplines to ensure the productivity levels.
• Review and validation of Inputs given to other discipline to reduce internal rework.
• Conduct Independent design review, Technical Audits and participate in external Audits.
• Monitor and review the performance of Discipline team members and providing the constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Drive and ensures system compliance requirements as per Jacobs's processes and procedures and compliance to SOPs.
• Ensures and drives knowledge sharing, lesson learned and technical knowledge Data base creation and updating the same.
• Shall be able to develop Façade & Fenestration, Interiors, Sanitation and plumbing conceptualization to detail engineering including options for look and feel, walkthroughs, presentations etc.
• Conceptualization, preparation of various options meeting the Uptime Institute's Tier standards.
• Techno commercial evaluation of various options and recommending / finalizing the option to be adopted for the project
• Preparation of Design Basis Report & Room Book
• Planning / guiding a team of Revit modelers in developing BIM model meeting

LOD 100 to 350 requirements during various phases of the projects.

• Reviewing the model / ensuring quality control on the model / guiding the

modelers in extracting layouts from the 3D model like Architectural Plans, elevations, sections, plumbing drawings

• Preparation of cost estimation for architectural part of the project
• Procurement assistance like providing technical clarifications, participating pre bid / post bid meeting / technical bid analysis / preparation or order specification.
• Vendor drawing review.
• Providing clarification to request for information from site during construction.
• Visiting sites for residual engineering / resolving site queries
• Coordination with various stake holders like Client / various internal disciplines like projects / electrical / mechanical / civil / vendors for effective engineering management
• Ensuring Architectural engineering execution within the budget / on time / meeting the quality set for the project and to the satisfaction of all the stake holders
• Providing Management Information for the Architectural engineering part of the project
• Providing information for & Attending Project review meeting / Internal review meetings / Management review meetings
• Training of engineers in data center on Architectural engineering, Preparation of

Architectural engineering effort estimation

Skills

• Positive attitude, excellent customer communications skills and the ability to act on own initiative with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to present highly complex topics in an understandable manner.
• Detailed knowledge of standards, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others.
• Deep understanding of performance, reliability, scalability, security, and reusability tactics and strategies.
• Extensive knowledge in architectural design, strong knowledge of architectural governance.
• Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles.
• Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Revit arch., Google sketch-up, etc. 3D software.
• Team build and strong relationship with down streams.
• Ability to identify integration patterns and points between various design areas and should be able to track the implementation of integrations.

Software

Competency

AutoCAD is essential.

Working knowledge of Revit Architecture, Navisworks, Photoshop, 3D Max & or

Google

Sketch- up shall be preferred.

Language

Competency

Good English written and verbal skills & ability to interact / coordinate. in a global environment are essential.
