Project: Project for Construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Telecom, IT, Electrical).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in engineering or system installation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the specific specialty (preferred).

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems across designated physical sections (1 to 5). The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in their specialty (e.g., Telecom or IT for SCADA systems) and demonstrate hands-on expertise in managing field installations and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute system installation within assigned physical section (1 to 5).
  • Interpret and apply technical and functional specifications for system deployment.
  • Monitor and summarize installation progress, reporting to project stakeholders.
  • Resolve physical interface challenges involving cabinets, cabling, cable trays, trenches, and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct on-site testing through sampling methods to validate system performance.
  • Drive commissioning activities within their technical specialty.
  • Collaborate in overall system integration, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Support final readiness for public operation and handover.
