Job Summary
The
Senior Accountant
plays a critical role in managing end-to-end financial reporting and analysis for one of our key business divisions. This position ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and analysis to support decision-making across leadership and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and experience in driving process improvements in a dynamic, global work environment.

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the
Finance Director
.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting.
• Manage revenue recognition, project costing, and financial analysis activities.
• Prepare and post general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain intercompany account integrity.
• Assist in financial audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify inconsistencies or areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models for reporting and forecasting.
• Recommend and implement process and system improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Support operations and M&A activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support compliance and reporting needs.

Core Competencies

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Sage ERP systems.
• Sound understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience in Payroll, Banking, and VAT return filings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's degree or CA Inter preferred).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting independently.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written) communication.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Remote work setup (India-based).
• May involve extended screen time during financial close periods.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
