Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor, located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing student counseling, career counseling, and academic advising. Daily tasks include guiding students on course selection, offering career advice, assisting students with academic challenges, and maintaining detailed records of student interactions. The Academic Counselor will also facilitate workshops and seminars to support student success and development.
Qualifications
- Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Academic Advising experience
- Background in Education
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty
- Proficiency with educational software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field
