Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer (7+ years experience) with strong exposure to energy-saving solutions and sustainable construction practices. This role bridges engineering execution, client consultancy, and project leadership, ensuring our turnkey projects (construction + renewable) are delivered with technical excellence, cost efficiency, and green innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Design & Planning

  • Lead the structural and civil design review for turnkey construction projects.

  • Integrate energy-efficient materials and methods (green concrete, low-VOC paints, passive design).

  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and BIM teams to optimize layouts.

Sustainability & Energy Efficiency

  • Advise on solar rooftop integration, water-saving fixtures, STPs, and waste management solutions.

  • Propose energy-efficient HVAC, insulation, and building envelope upgrades.

  • Act as a consultant for IGBC/LEED certification readiness for clients.

Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Oversee on-site civil works execution with subcontractors.

  • Ensure quality, safety, and timeline adherence.

  • Use data-driven tools (dashboards, IoT meters) to track energy/water savings.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the technical consultant for clients on sustainability ROI.

  • Present cost-benefit analyses of energy-saving measures.

  • Build trust by simplifying technical concepts into client-friendly insights.

Innovation & Strategy

  • Research and propose new materials, prefab techniques, and energy technologies.

  • Support leadership in building partnerships with vendors (solar, water, HVAC, etc.).

  • Mentor junior engineers on green construction practices.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Sustainability/Construction Management a plus).

  • 7+ years of civil/construction project experience.

  • Exposure to energy-saving systems, renewable integration, or green building practices.

  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, structural systems, and project management.

  • Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Strong client-facing & consulting skills (not just technical).

  • Analytical mindset with cost-saving focus.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Clear communicator who can explain technical solutions simply.
