Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children) is India's leading independent child rights organisation. We run programmes in the remotest corners of India and urban areas in the areas of Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection and Livelihood & Economic Wellbeing in order to facilitate quality education, healthcare and protection from harm and abuse and life-saving aid during emergencies to children.
ROLE PURPOSE
To lead the individual giving program in order to achieve budgeted income, reduce costs and increased net margins in support of the overall fundraising objectives and strategy of

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
·
Is accountable for leading, managing and growing the individual giving portfolio of
Bal Raksha Bharat through channels like- F2F, Retention, CRM, New initiatives etc.
·
Develop and oversee an annual Individual giving plan, direct Marketing Strategy, planning and analysis - Develop and implement the One Time and Regular Giving strategy to drive revenue growth.
·
Oversee all functions of Individual giving such as donor journey, acquisition, digital, DRTV, retention etc.
·
Direct and oversee external agencies and suppliers to execute the IG strategy to meet agreed budgets and timelines.
·
Has accountability for budget, revenues and/or expenditure for the individual giving program.
·
Oversee income and expenditure budgets and forecast for all individual giving programs
·
Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure internal capability is efficient, meeting best practice and continuously improved to meet changing conditions.
·
Capitalise on all of Save the Children touch points, making effective and efficient use of all mediums.
·
Keep abreast of competitor activity (in and out of the charity sector), new trends, tactics and channels being adopted within the industry.
·
Disseminate new learnings and information throughout the team.
·
Line management of Individual Giving team, develop HR strategy, plan & rollout capacity building plans for the team
·
Support the vision and values of Save the Children in all circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA /PGDBM/PG in Marketing / Banking /Development Studies / International Relation Insurance from a premium institute.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Minimum 13-15 years of
tertiary experience, preferably in a relevant discipline such as fund raising , finance services, service sectors , business, marketing or communications, with more than 8 years of leadership / management experience in a relevant industry.
· Experience in developing individual giving /direct marketing strategies and plans
