We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Kollam office in Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and taxation norms, and supporting the company's financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger and record financial transactions accurately
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in compliance with Indian tax laws
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare Financial statements/Reports as and when required by the management
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with banks, vendors, and government agencies when necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • B.com in Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
  • Working Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP9
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English and Malayalam preferred
