The Senior SAP FICO Consultant will also be responsible for ensuring that the asset accounting processes align with industry best practices and statutory requirements. By leveraging advanced SAP knowledge and financial insight, this position serves as a strategic partner in driving the organization's financial efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP FICO implementation projects with a focus on Asset Accounting.
  • Configure and customize SAP FICO settings to meet financial requirements.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements.
  • Conduct system testing and validation for new functionalities.
  • Provide expert guidance on asset valuation and depreciation methods.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities through custom reports and dashboards.
  • Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and support end-users on SAP FICO processes.
  • Document business processes and system configurations.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure system integrations are seamless.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Accounting functionalities in SAP.
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting principles.
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations.
  • Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in user training and support.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Certification in SAP FICO is a plus.
