Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Assistant Manager – Legal to join our Legal team. This role is crucial for ensuring all our operations, projects, and transactions are legally sound and compliant with applicable laws, especially those related to real estate and property development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents, agreements, and contracts (MoUs, sale deeds, lease deeds, etc.)
- Handling RERA documentation and compliance
- Coordinating with external legal consultants, regulatory authorities, and government offices
- Managing property due diligence, title verification, and documentation for land acquisitions
- Providing legal advice to internal teams on compliance, risks, and project approvals
- Representing the company in legal proceedings, if required
- Ensuring regular updates on changes in real estate and land laws
- Maintaining legal records and reports for all ongoing matters
- Requirements:
- Education: LLB (mandatory); additional qualifications in property/real estate law preferred
- Experience: 3–6 years of legal experience, preferably in the real estate sector
- Strong knowledge of RERA, land acquisition laws, contract law, and civil matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with departments like Sales, CRM, and Construction
- Proficiency in MS Office, legal research tools, and documentation systems.
