About the Role: The Senior Finance Accountant is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and accuracy of financial records and reports. This role plays a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. The Senior Finance Accountant also provides guidance to junior accounting staff and contributes to improving financial systems and procedure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (professional certification will be an added advantage).

· Minimum 4–6 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and taxation.

· Proficiency in finance/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or equivalent).

· Should Possess Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

· Excellent leadership, problem-solving and accurate knowledge about transactions and ledgers ensuring accurate overview of finance

· High ethical standards, accuracy, and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹22, ₹37,000.00 per month
