Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Patent Drafting located in Bengaluru. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for preparing patent documentation, filing patent applications, formulating patent strategies, and conducting research and development efforts. Day-to-day tasks include drafting/reviewing high-quality patent applications, ensuring compliance with patent laws, and supporting the IP team in delivering quality drafts.
Qualifications
- Skills in Patent Preparation and drafting US patent applications
- Knowledge of US Patent Laws and the legal aspects of patent drafting
- Ability to develop effective Claim Strategy
- Strong Research and Development (R&D) skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering - ECE, CSE, IT
- Experience in innovation management or a similar role is a plus.
