Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for the sales and marketing of Elgi Air Compressor as per assigned to you designated territory / Area. The ideal candidate have a excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Generate new business for air compressors and related products in the assigned territory.
  • Handle enquiry generation, lead follow-up, client visits and technical discussions.
  • Promote company products to industrial clients and demonstrate product features and benefits.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal technical/service teams for installation, commissioning and after-sales support.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand competitor activities.
  • Submit daily/weekly visit reports and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Air Compressor sales (mandatory).
  • Strong technical understanding of air compressors, accessories, and industrial applications.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness for on-field work and travelling within territory.
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving licence (mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16, ₹40,000.00 per month
