Account Receivables Assistant Manager/Manager

Role & responsibilities

  • Complete monitoring of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Prepare and monitor AR aging reports, track overdue payments, and follow up with clients.
  • Handle customer queries, disputes, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with EPC/project teams for billing schedules and milestone-based collections.
  • Prepare MIS reports for management on debtors status, overdue analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance in AR processes.
  • Support statutory and internal audits with AR-related data.

Preferred candidate profile

  • MBA (Finance) / Post Graduate in Commerce with strong AR and credit control experience.
  • Prior EPC / project industry exposure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (SAP / Oracle / Tally).
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
