1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting


• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets during pre construction and design phases.


• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to support investment decisions.


• Update cost plans based on design changes, market trends, and material fluctuations.

2. Tendering and Procurement


• Prepare tender documents, specifications, and scope of works for contractors and suppliers.


• Evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and recommend award decisions.


• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.

3. Contract Administration


• Draft, review, and administer various forms of contracts.


• Manage claims, variations, and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.


• Certify contractor payments and monitor project cash flow.

4. Project Cost Control


• Track project expenditures against budget and identify potential cost overruns.


• Prepare periodic cost reports and forecasts for management.


• Implement value engineering strategies to optimize cost without compromising quality.

5. Final Accounts and Reporting


• Prepare final accounts and ensure closure of all commercial matters.


• Maintain accurate cost records and ensure transparency in financial reporting.


• Present cost analysis reports to senior management and stakeholders.
