Internal Material & Production Coordination

  • Schedule and dispatch materials, components, and supplies to production lines based on daily production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust dispatch plans when delays or changes occur.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and production supervisors to maintain accurate material flow.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Schedule outbound freight shipments and prepare dispatch schedules for carriers.
  • Communicate pickup and delivery requirements to drivers and logistics partners.
  • Verify shipment readiness and ensure correct documentation (BOLs, packing lists, etc.).

Inventory & Data Management

  • Track material usage and notify inventory or purchasing teams when stock levels require replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, inventory movements, and production support tasks.
  • Update ERP or dispatching software with real-time data on material status and shipment information.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the communication hub between production, warehouse, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Provide production teams with updates on delays, shortages, or schedule changes.
  • Respond to urgent requests for materials, equipment, or transport support within the plant.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure dispatch activities follow plant safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment usage (such as forklifts or company vehicles) and assign appropriately.

Support compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards where applicable
