Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Associate to join our team. The role involves accurately posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts in line with payer remittances, ensuring reconciliation, and supporting overall revenue cycle efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system accurately and timely.
  • Review and reconcile deposits with ERA/EOBs and bank statements.
  • Identify posting discrepancies and work with AR/denial teams for resolution.
  • Maintain accuracy in patient accounts and ensure compliance with US healthcare billing standards.
  • Generate and maintain daily/weekly payment posting reports.
  • Escalate unresolved issues promptly to the team lead/manager.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in payment posting within US Healthcare/RCM.
  • Strong knowledge of EOBs, ERAs, adjustments, and denials.
  • Familiarity with medical billing systems and MS Excel.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multiple practice management/EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of basic AR follow-up and denial management.
