Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager CSR ProjectsDepartment: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)Location: Delhi-NCRReports To: Head – CSR / Program DirectorGrade: Manager / Senior Manager (based on experience)Role Overview:The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation systems across all CSR initiatives, including Skill Development, Education, Environment, and Capacity Building programs. The role involves creating robust processes and data-driven mechanisms to ensure programs are efficiently executed, results are measurable, and course corrections are implemented early in the project lifecycle.The M&E Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that CSR programs are aligned with organizational goals, donor expectations, and statutory compliance requirements. The incumbent will act as a bridge between program implementation teams, management, and external partners to promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:1. Monitoring & Evaluation Framework Design
- Develop and institutionalize M&E frameworks, logframes, and indicator matrices for all CSR projects.
- Define clear output, outcome, and impact indicators aligned with project objectives and CSR goals.
- Establish baseline metrics and targets to assess program performance over time.
- Create and standardize M&E tools, templates, and reporting formats for internal and partner use.
2. Process and System Development
- Design and implement robust process monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely project execution.
- Develop and maintain digital dashboards and MIS systems for real-time program tracking.
- Implement early-warning systems to detect deviations, delays, or performance issues.
- Coordinate with IT/data teams to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with project databases.
3. Data Management and Quality Assurance
- Oversee data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct data quality assessments (DQAs) and regular audits to minimize reporting errors.
- Establish clear documentation protocols and ensure all project data is audit ready.
4. Evaluation and Learning
- Conduct baseline, midline, and endline evaluations to assess project performance and impact.
- Prepare detailed M&E reports highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Facilitate learning sessions and reflection workshops to capture best practices and lessons learned.
- Support management in using M&E insights for strategic planning and program design improvements.
5. Capacity Building and Partner Support
- Train internal teams and implementing partners on M&E frameworks, indicators, and tools.
- Provide handholding support for reporting, data analysis, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure that all partners adhere to agreed M&E protocols and reporting standards.
6. Stakeholder Reporting and Communication
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support CSR leadership in preparing impact reports for board presentations, donors, and public disclosures.
- Coordinate with communications teams to translate M&E findings into success stories and impact narratives.
7. Compliance and Risk Mitigation
- Ensure adherence to CSR regulations under the Companies Act, 2013 and relevant sustainability frameworks (SDGs, ESG metrics).
- Identify operational and strategic risks early and propose preventive/corrective measures.
- Maintain strong documentation and evidence for all monitoring activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

M&E Framework Development- M&E frameworks and logframes developed for 100% of active CSR projects within defined timelines. - Clear indicators and targets established and approved by CSR leadership.2. Data Quality & Reporting- Accuracy of partner-reported data 95%. - Timely submission of monthly/quarterly reports (100% compliance). - Reduction in reporting discrepancies year-on-year.3. Evaluation & Impact Assessment- Completion of baseline, midline, and endline studies as per project plan. - Measurable improvement in outcome and impact indicators across programs.4. Process Monitoring & Early Intervention- Implementation of digital dashboards/MIS for all major programs. - Identification and resolution of program gaps within one month of detection.5. Partner Capacity Building- Conduct at least 4 M&E training sessions annually. - Improvement in partner compliance scores by 20% within a year.6. Learning & Knowledge Management- Number of learning notes, best practices, and case studies documented annually. - Integration of learnings into new project designs.7. Compliance & Governance- 100% adherence to CSR Act and audit requirements. - Zero major compliance deviations reported.Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Master's degree in social sector, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, preferably within CSR, NGOs, or large-scale development programs.
- Experience in designing and managing M&E frameworks for multi-sectoral projects (skill development, education, environment, etc.).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or other M&E/data visualization tools.
- Exposure to impact assessment methodologies and CSR compliance frameworks.
