Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday Fix Off)

Work Hours & Day: 10:00 Am to 7:00 Pm

Note: This is a full-time, on-site position. No WFH / No Remote / No Hybrid.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend MERN Stack Developer who specializes in building scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems using , , and MongoDB. The ideal candidate should have deep backend knowledge and experience integrating APIs, managing databases, and deploying production-ready systems.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain backend services using and
  • Design and manage databases using MongoDB (and optionally MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a bonus)
  • Implement authentication and security (OAuth, JWT, RBAC)
  • Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot system issues
  • Work closely with frontend developers for seamless integration
  • Deploy applications via CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Write unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha, etc.

Required Technical Skills

Languages & Frameworks:

  • JavaScript (ES6+), , (or )
  • Deep understanding of async programming, event loop, and modular code
  • Databases:

  • MongoDB (primary), experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis is a plus

  • ORM tools like Mongoose or Sequelize

Security:DevOps & Deployment:Real-Time & Messaging:Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • JWT, OAuth, session handling, RBAC
  • Prevention of common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection)
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
  • Deployment to AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, or Heroku
  • WebSockets / Socket.IO
  • Message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS
  • TypeScript
  • Serverless experience (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
  • Swagger/Postman for API documentation
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or CouchDB
  • Basic understanding of (for integration purposes)
