We are Looking for SCM Head oversees the end-to-end supply chain, including strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, logistics, and distribution to ensure a continuous, cost-effective supply of medical and non-medical items crucial for patient care. Key responsibilities involve developing supply chain strategies, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing performance, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize operations and reduce costs.

Role & responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely availability of critical supplies.
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Design and execute purchasing strategies for medical and non-medical supplies, negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and quality.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and facility standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the tracking, storage, and distribution of supplies, implementing policies to minimize waste, prevent shortages, and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Manage the internal and external logistics of supply movement, ensuring timely delivery to various hospital departments and facilities.
  • Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain and manage the supply chain budget effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain operations adhere to healthcare regulations and internal organizational standards.
  • Internal Collaboration: Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to forecast supply needs and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train supply chain staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Experience: Proven experience in supply chain operations, procurement, and inventory management within a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies for supply chain optimization.
  • Negotiation: Proven negotiation skills for managing vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring staff development and growth.
