: Position: Instrument Technician

Location: Mehsana

Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Maintenance:

    • Assist in installation, loop checking, and commissioning of field instruments.
    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of transmitters, sensors, valves, gauges, etc.
    • Support in MCCDCS/PLC wiring and related connections.

  • Calibration & Inspection:

    • Perform calibration of pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments as per schedule.
    • Maintain calibration logbooks, records, and history cards.
    • Ensure tools and test instruments are maintained in good condition.

  • Troubleshooting & Support:

    • Identify faults and assist engineers in troubleshooting instrument-related issues.
    • Report abnormalities and suggest corrective actions to minimize downtime.

  • Documentation & System Entry:

    • Update daily maintenance activities and work orders in SAP/ERP system.
    • Support in preparing reports and records for audits and inspections.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Follow all plant safety guidelines and permit-to-work systems.
    • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
Required Skills:
  • Good knowledge of field instrumentation and wiring.
  • Practical skills in calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of P&IDs and instrument tag identification.
  • Ability to work in shifts and under supervision.
  • Team-oriented, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.
Required Qualification:
  • Diploma/ITI - Instrumentation
Salary:
  • Upto 5.00 LPA
