Summary: The OPD Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the hospitals Out-Patient Department. This role ensures efficient patient flow, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality patient care while coordinating with medical, nursing, and administrative staff.

Post: OPD Manager/Out-Patient Manager

Experience: 6+ years (from hospital administration or OPD management)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or relevant

Remunerations: Best as per industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the OPD, including scheduling, patient registration, and appointment management.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, training, and supervision of OPD staff (nurses, receptionists, and allied health personnel).
  • Monitor patient flow, waiting times, and service quality to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with physicians and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain records, reports, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage OPD resources, including equipment, supplies, and space allocation.
  • Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
