Role Overview

Own robust, scalable data pipelines that convert raw partner feeds into clean, reliable datasets for personalization and recommendations. Youll work across ingestion transformation enrichment storage on GCP, ensuring quality, consistency, and performance.

What you'll do

  • Build and operate ETL pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Run/Functions) with Airflow/Cloud Composer
  • Ingest large multi-source product feeds (APIs, CSV, XML/JSON, SFTP) and normalize to internal schemas
  • Implement schema inference, data validation (Pandera or similar), logging, and lineage
  • Optimize BigQuery cost/performance (partitioning, clustering, TTLs)
  • Orchestrate event-driven flows with Pub/Sub or Kafka
  • Package microservices for data/ML endpoints (FastAPI/Flask, Docker, CI/CD)
  • Integrate Vertex AI jobs or embeddings where needed for enrichment

Must have

  • Python, SQL, and PySpark or Dask for distributed processing
  • GCP hands-on: BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Run/Functions, Vertex AI
  • Airflow/Cloud Composer for orchestration
  • Proven experience with partner/affiliate data cleaning and normalization at scale
  • Strong data privacy mindset and GDPR familiarity

Requirements

  • 37 years in data engineering or ML data infrastructure
  • Shipped production pipelines on GCP
  • Strong debugging, automation, ownership
  • English C1+. Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred
