Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Localization & Quality Assurance Tester
with expertise in mobile application testing and multilingual adaptation. The role involves validating and testing mobile UI, voice interactions, and contextual prompts in regional languages, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy for Indian markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multilingual Adaptation Testing

  • Perform in-depth localization validation for
    Bengali, Tamil and Gujarati
    languages (spoken & written).
  • Identify cultural adaptation issues in UI text, voice interactions, and contextual prompts.
  • Execute end-to-end testing in dialect-specific scenarios, including
    voice recognition testing
    .

2. Full-Process Quality Assurance

  • Design and execute test cases across mobile platforms.
  • Use
    Jira
    to manage the defect lifecycle, track issues, and facilitate timely closure.
  • Conduct
    ASR/TTS
    testing tasks, including stress testing in minority languages.
  • Prepare and execute localized functional test designs.
  • Perform
    competitive product analysis.
  • Conduct
    exploratory testing
    based on local customs, culture, and religion.

3. Specialized Testing

  • Validate app adaptability in
    low-network environments
    (2G/3G scenarios).
  • Perform functional verification for
    multi-religious festival scenarios
    (e.g., Diwali, Holi).

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Computer Science / Information Technology
    or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum
    2 years
    of mobile application testing experience (must provide examples of test cases executed).
  • Strong understanding of
    Android/iOS testing tools
    and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in
    ADB commands
    and mobile debugging.

Language Proficiency:

  • Native fluency
    (spoken & written) in
    Bengali, Tamil, or Gujarati
    (at least one required)
    .

  • Ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
