Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented
QA Engineer
to join our dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered recruitment platform through
manual testing (major focus)
and
automation testing (Selenium with Java)
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    manual testing
    of web and mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance gaps.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain
    automation test scripts
    using Selenium with Java.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans and cases.
  • Track, log, and verify bugs/defects using relevant tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
  • Conduct
    regression testing
    ,
    functional testing
    , and
    UI/UX validation
    .
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years
    of experience in
    software testing
    (manual + automation).
  • Strong expertise in
    manual testing methodologies
    and writing test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Java
    for automation testing.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestNG, Maven, Git, or similar.
  • Knowledge of API testing (Postman/Rest Assured) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
