In this vital role you will architect scalable, innovative systems, provide expert technical guidance, configuration, development and maintenance that align with Amgen's strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with the MDG Product Owner, and other functional MDM teams to enhance and optimize MDM integrations and workflows, ensuring SAP MDG delivers maximum value across the organization. Roles Responsibilities: Collaborate with S/4HANA Business Process Owners to understand data governance requirements and translate them into effective MDG solutions. Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for various data domains (e.g., Business Partner, Material, WBS, etc. ). Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment to best practices and standards. Develop and maintain data models, MDG workflows, and business rules within the MDG framework. Collaborate with multi-functional MDM teams to integrate MDG with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing. Create comprehensive user documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides. Conduct training sessions for key partners and end-users as needed. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 6 to 8 years of Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience Preferred Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Hands-on experience implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). Experience with SAP S/4HANA master data integration. Proficiency in SAP ABAP for custom enhancements. Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality, and data governance best practices Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fiori. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to master data governance. Experience integrating MDG Mater Data with Informatica MDM or Reltio. Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Databricks platform. Experience delivering Master Data solutions through Agile methodologies for software implementation. Professional Certifications: SAP MDG certification (preferred) SAP MM or SD Certification (Preferred) SAP ABAP Certification (preferred) Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred) Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess and improve master data processes and solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical collaborators.
