JobSummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and experiencedSenior Accountant to manage the financial operations of our NGO, ensuringaccurate accounting, statutory compliance, and transparent reporting of grantand project funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NGOaccounting, FCRA compliance, and donor reporting requirements. KeyResponsibilities· Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordancewith accounting standards and NGO -specific requirements· Ensure timely accounting of income, grants,donations, and project expenditures· Prepare financial statements and reports fordonors, management, and statutory authorities· Ensure compliance with FCRA, Income Tax, andother applicable laws and regulations· Handle FCRA accounting, FC4 returns, and trackfund utilization as per donor guidelines· Assist in budget preparation and varianceanalysis for projects and grants· Ensure timely payment of statutory dues (TDS, PF,ESI, GST if applicable) and filing of returns· Coordinate with statutory and internal auditorsand provide necessary documentation· Support donor audits and ensure proper trackingof restricted/unrestricted funds· Maintain documentation and ensure audit -readyrecords at all times· Liaise with program teams for financial inputs,fund requirements, and compliance checks RequiredSkills and Competencies· Solid understanding of NGO financial operationsand compliance· Hands -on experience with FCRA accounting andreporting· Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally,Zoho Books, etc.)· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financialreporting tools· High standards of integrity, confidentiality, andaccuracy· Good communication skills for donor and teamcoordination· Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, andmeet deadlines
